Budget 2022: An Additional 1.9 Billion Euros For National Education, Youth And Sports



A 2022 budget of €1.9 billion should persuade the government to 'continue' to devote itself to education and youth. The budget of the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports amounted to EUR 57 billion, including EUR 55.2 billion for "school education," except for young people, sports and community life, in the Finance Bill submitted on Wednesday September 22nd. The Ministry of National Education praises "strong growth" and states that the budget for school education alone rises by €1.6 billion or 3 percent - an increase comparable to the one seen previously in the budget for2021. Since the beginning of the five-year term, the administration also remembered a 12% increase in the budget for school education.
