Perlite or Diatomaceous Earth?

Hello to all pool owners! What filter media for the regenerative filter do you use?

Hi! I only use perlite for the Defender Neptune Benson https://aquaanalytic.ae/ filter in my pool. This is the manufacturer's recommendation. You can also use DE, but perlite has a better filtering ability. And perlite is available everywhere from retailers and is always available. I looked at the tables for perlite on this site.
