He said, and she stated. Noella Bergener's divorce from James Bergener swiftly devolved into a squabble as the former couple fought for custody of their son, financial arrangements, and other issues.
James and Noella dated for five years before marrying in June 2020. In late 2020, they moved to Puerto Rico, but she returned to California in May 2021 to participate on RHOC. She joined the Bravo show's regular roster for season 16, which aired in December 2021, after making guest appearances throughout season 15.
After one year of marriage, Noella filed for a formal separation from James in Orange County, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the basis for their divorce, according to Us Weekly. She asked for primary and physical custody of their son, James, as well as spousal maintenance on a monthly basis.
However, according to James' attorney, he filed for divorce in Puerto Rico in July 2021 and the divorce was completed in December 2021.
Noella accused James of abandoning his autistic kid throughout the court struggle. "My spouse and partner of 6 years fled the house with his toothbrush 5 months ago, leaving behind his life, family, and home," she said in December 2021 on Instagram. "From Puerto Rico, he served divorce papers on me, and that was the end of our marriage." James has yet to pay a visit to our son or provide me with an explanation for his absence."
